LOCATION

Sunshine Ballpark is strategically located in the City of Fredericksburg for central access to all children in the Fredericksburg region. 

 

ATHLETIC FACILITIES

Artificial turf fields with covered dugouts and natural turf fields provide weather resistant surfaces for year around use and enjoyment. Ability Field is fully accessible to children with special needs. A fully equipped Education Center includes restrooms & recreation rooms.

The complex is designed to host a variety of youth sports, physical education and education programs, including accessibility for children with disabilities.

 

PLAYGROUND

A modern playground accessible to all children, including those with disabilities is on site at the ballpark.

EDUCATION BUILDING

In addition to athletic activities, the education building features a state of the art computer center for children to actively engage in programs such as the scientific, deep sea exploration of the Jason Project, an initiative of the Ballard Institute for Exploration and Engineering for Kids.
